The cottage is ideal for a variety of vacation styles. You can be in touch with the office through email, the internet, video conferencing, Skype, etc., or you can leave all of that behind and read a good book on the porch or the dock area. You can boat, fish, swim, hike or just relax. You can use it as your base of operations for college events, or other tourism. On rainy days or evenings you can play foosball or other games in the Fun Room.
The main cottage floor is all on one level. There is one step onto the screened in porch and one step from the porch to the interior of the cottage. 
There are sturdy handles to assist persons with mild stability issues. The kitchen dining area and living area (see above) are not separated by walls making it easier to include the whole family in conversation and not exclude anyone from what is going on. The living/dining area has a view of Twin Ponds. The fireplace has an electric insert for ambiance and your safety.
The fully equipped kitchen with electric stove & oven, full sized refrigerator, microwave, air fryer, 2 coffee makers, toaster, etc. shown above. Even the kitchen sink has a view of Twin Ponds. For your safety carbon monoxide detector, smoke alarm, fire extinguishers & first aid kit are provided. During the occasional hot weather, good cross ventilation is enhanced by window fans which can also be controlled by separate remote controls.
There are two bedrooms, each with a Queen bed, closet/wardrobe and a bureau. They are connected by a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet making access easy for both bedrooms. Linens, towels and blankets are provided. The second and larger bathroom has a tub-shower, sink and toilet plus a washer and dryer. There is storage for extra linens. There is even a view of Twin Ponds from the bathroom window.
The internet and phone service arrive at the cottage over fiber optic cable and are
then transformed into 300 mbs wireless for your mobile devices and streaming over the 55" 4K wall mounted TV. There is a 4K blue ray player which works with the 55 inch, UHD 4K TV. Both the TV and the Blu-ray player have remotes for your convenience. There are some DVDs available but you may want to bring your own favorites. You can stream internet content on the TV with the free Roku channel or use your own streaming service. Prior technical coordination may be necessary to ensuring that your devices are compatible. Please contact us before your arrival. The wall mount for the TV will swivel and tilt so you can watch the TV from different locations. There is Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) phone service to the US and Canada.
The Fun Room in the walk out basement has a Foosball table, a desk where someone can toil while the rest of the 
family is having fun outside or play cards or play games without cluttering the living-dining area. It is nice and cool in hot weather and snuggly warm in cool or cold weather.
This two bedroom cottage on Twin Ponds is in a wonderfully peaceful environment to inspire artists, writers, tele-commuters or just plain folks wanting to recharge their batteries. The cottage is a year-around home that we rent or lease for periods of at least three nights. If you like being crowded, lots of noise, traffic and activity all around you, this is definitely not for you.
