THINGS TO DO AT OR NEAR THE COTTAGE

  • Enjoy doing nothing on the screened in porch or in a chair on the lawn or at the waterfront.
  • Stream or play videos on the television.
  • Surf the internet or send & recieve email on your smart phone, tablet or laptop.
  • Set up and play Badminton.
  • Set up and play Croquet.
  • Go boating in one of the two boats on Twin Ponds.
  • Go swimming and diving in Twin Ponds.
  • Play in the sand box.  Some toys provided.  Bring your own toy trucks and tools for maximum enjoyment.
  • Walk or hike on the town roads in the area.  Wear reflective clothing during periods of poor visibility.
  • Walk or hike on our farm trails and in our Christmas tree fields.
  • Take a guided tour of our 228 acre Christmas tree farm

FISHING LAWS

Despite the fact that you will be fishing on private property, you will need a current Vermont fishing license to fish on Twin Ponds. Vermont law regards all bodies of water that have streams flowing into and out of them as subject to State Fish & Wildlife regulations regardless of size. Twin Ponds has a small stream flowing out of it and an even smaller small stream flowing into it. The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department has a number of different fishing licenses available.
