We will provide snow removal during daylight hours and sand barrels on the driveway as well as on the town highway leading up to East Street which is also a town highway. The Town road crew does a good job of plowing and sanding town highways during "drive-time". You are encouraged to have snow tires and a vehicle with good traction if you expect to travel in the evening or night during bad weather or anytime during major storms. Vermont gravel roads in the Winter and early Spring experience one or more warm periods that cause the gravel roads to thaw and become slippery and muddy. You should expect to take longer to reach paved roads during these periods and vehicles with higher clearance are encouraged.
